Where Can I Drive My Golf Cart?
Golf cart rentals are available throughout 30A, but not all communities permit golf carts or have designated areas where they can be driven. Read the full information about 30A golf cart restrictions here.
- The communities of Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Prominence, and Seacrest DO NOT allow golf carts.
- Watercolor has limited golf cart access and is only permitted when rented with the Electric Cart Company. Please read through the Watercolor Fleet FAQ page for information on driving your golf cart in this 30A community.
- Seaside also has limited golf cart access, which is only permitted with prior approval from the Seaside Town Council. Please contact our team at 850-231-0163 for more information.
30A Golf Cart Rentals

Golf Cart Rules
Before hitting the road, it’s essential to familiarize yourself with the local golf cart rules in Walton County, as well as those of the rental companies. Please remember that your golf cart is considered a motor vehicle, and most rules that apply to cars also apply to your golf cart.
- Only drive on roads with speed limits of 35mph or less.
- Obey all traffic laws.
- Must be at least 16 with a valid driver’s license. Please check with your rental company to determine their minimum age requirement.
- Wear seatbelts at all times.
- Do not drive on beaches, bike paths, or sidewalks.
- Do not drive under the influence.
- Only park in designated parking spaces.
